Soon after winning her title in 2012, Psalmstre Enterprises, Inc. signed her up as a celebrity endorser for their product, New Placenta. Stephany together with Psalmstre began their journey in reaching out to people and inspiring them thru series of various charity events that took Stephany to meet and mingle with the underprivileged. She also led the #FreeHugs meet and greet promotional tour with Ejay Falcon, Lawrence Mossman, and Fernando Alvarez. Said tour is the longest running campaign of Psalmstre which has taken place in key cities in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Abroad, Stephany has been well-received in Dubai and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for her part in giving product orientation to major traders and retailers.
Steph, as she is fondly called, recently attempted to screen for Bb. Pilipinas 2017. However, she had to bow out from the competition as organizers stressed a ‘technicality’ issue. Many of her supporters who drummed up an exciting online campaign for her quest for the crown got frustrated but were calmed with Steph’s wisdom. Before the screening, she prayed hard for guidance. When asked, she shared that in her prayer she asked that, “Kung hindi Niyo po ako bibigyan ng (isa pang) international crown, don’t let me join the local search.”
Life goes on for the Queen of Hearts. The Earth warrior that we have come to love so much has not been deterred by recent Bb. Pilipinas outcome. Words of encouragement and support from her family, friends and followers have inspired her more to be the best version of herself – an influential endorser, an inspiring instrument for spreading compassion and good vibes, a loving daughter to her mom, and a supportive sister to her two siblings whom she sends to school.
True enough, we would be seeing more of Steph. Aside from her finale segment at the recently concluded Mangaldan Runway Fashion Festival held on March 8 in Pangasinan, on March 25, locals of a Quezon City barangay would be mingling with Steph for a scheduled #FreeHugs tour.
She will also be a part of the Philippine delegation to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the 14th Malaysian International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) convention on April 5-8, 2017. Our delegates are attending through the cooperation of Psalmstre and the Department of Trade and Industry. On April 30, she would be back in Pangasinan for the Limgas ng Pangasinan 2017 (The Search for Miss Pangasinan). Plans are also under way for Steph to reach out to more OFWs thru the patronage of Psalmstre.
Steph may not have conquered another crown but our Queen is stepping up to inspire future beauty queens and fashion icons. She is teaming up with Fernando Alvarez (Mr World 2016 First Runner-up) for CREWorks Asia’s Modelling Workshop which would operate soon in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao. This runway workshop would come with a series of fashion shows to set the stage for Steph’s and Fernando’s effective mentorship. On top of this is her continuing hosting job for corporate and international events, local and international beauty searches and cultural events.
Indeed, it takes more than a crown and a title to be a true beauty queen. And Stephany’s big and beautiful heart showed us how a People’s Queen should be, not wanting for more but doing more than what is expected.
